In every residence the entrance is very significant. Not only because it gives the sense of beginning in a whole of spaces, but also for ergonomic and practical reasons. The console table on the left photo, is a custom made piece of furniture, especially designed by Clémence Pavgelos for the specific residence. Inspired by Yannis Moralis works and by using marble Sinai Pearl she emphasized the plasticity and the form and she adapted them totally to the furniture and the setting.

Usually the challenge to design a custom made piece of furniture for a specific setting and the combination of more than two materials, delivers beautiful and interesting results. The dining table on the left, designed by Clémence Pavgelos, combines in harmony the marble on the top, the leather and metal on the base. Materials that already exist in the room showcase even more with the table. The marble is Vraca, treated with a special antique style.

In this particular residence we used all the old items of great sentimental value collected by the owners, in the interior design. So in order to balance the antiques and to create a lighter atmosphere we designed a modern table dressed with a material totally unexpected and at the same time fresh and hard-shelled: the cement mortar of the Cyclades. The form as well as the colour and the material were chosen in order to give a breath of freshness to the site.
